Angelo Mangiarotti is well known across the globe for his elegant use of form and controlled approach to materials. Born in Milan in 1921, he started his career in the early fifties and his work quickly became a benchmark in the worlds of architecture, design and art. His research stems from his interest in industrial processes as much as from his fascination with artistic expression. He has managed to bring out the sensual side of objects by combining form and materials with his innate perceptiveness and strong expressive language. His works are considered timeless “classics”.
