Venezia/Pisa/Torcello are the three names of places in Italy that Gilad chose to associate to a collection of candlesticks that explore a series of opposites: stability vs. instability, one vs. many, surfaces vs. edges, movement vs. inertia. The candle is precariously balanced on either a wood or marble base.
