The animal subjects of the “La Serie della Natura” derive from the iconographic research that Mari developed at the beginning of the ‘60s for the definition of the characters of the “Gioco delle Favole”. A lengthy study was dedicated to each subject to achieve an emblematic result that makes an alphabet of institutionalised signs decipherable. Re-issuing his work is our way of paying homage to the memory of an unforgettable designer who made Danese great. His animals, masterfully drawn with simple coloured backgrounds and very few details, give us back the pleasure of inventing stories, expanding the spaces of the imagination, restoring flora and fauna elements to the walls of our houses that reconnect us in an elegant and distinctive way with the magical world of nature.
